Have you ever been to the Miracle Pop-Up Bar Experience?
’Tis the season! For another year local bars nationwide are transforming into winter wonderlands for the holiday season! The concept of Miracle, a Christmas-themed pop-cocktail bar, began in 2014. The holiday-themed cocktails are enjoyed in a festive setting and get bar-goers into the holiday spirit.
In previous years I have braved the long lines and frigid temperatures to get a seat at Miracle on 8th the Shaw, DC neighborhood at Miracle on Seventh Street which is always packed.
I had the pleasure of enjoying the fun holiday cocktails at Miracle at Pacific Cocktail Haven (@miracleatPCH) in San Francisco. The cocktail bar recently reopened right in time for the holidays! I couldn’t have been more excited to be able to visit and enjoy the interesting festive holiday cocktails.
The vibrant Christmas decor, imaginative festive craft cocktails, and good vibes make for a great time at this pop-up.
What cocktails can be enjoyed at the Miracle Pop-Up?
Christmas Carol Barrel – reposado tequila, coffee liqueur, dry curacao, spiced chocolate, aromatic bitters, orange bitters
Santarex – Tequila, mezcal, melon liquor, almond orgeat, lime, and bitters
I Know Santa – Mulled Wine, Spices, Grand Marnier, Lilet Rouge, port (served hot)
Yippie Ki Yay Mother F****r! – Barbados rum
Mule Tide – Scotch, Highland Park Scotch, sherry, allspice, ginger, honey, citrus
The Mule Tide and I Know Santa cocktails were drinks not on the printed menu
The drinks we tried were all great and festive. Each drink was $16 and the shots were $8. There are options with different spirits to satisfy a wide variety of tastes. We sat at the long bar and the staff was both attentive and friendly.
Pacific Cocktail Haven has both outdoor and indoor seating.
The decor was vibrant. Whoever decorated truly captured the essence of the holiday mood and transformed the space into a Winter Wonderland. There are even a couple of Instagrammable areas that offer a chance for a few social media-worthy photos!
Conclusion
Surely I had the best time at this holiday-themed bar experience! We went in the evening. It was pretty crowded as expected but the line moves pretty quickly. PRO TIP: If you can, arrive early
There’s also a festive surprise we enjoyed.
