As a traveler, finding the perfect hotel can definitely make or break a trip. When I visited New Orleans, I had the pleasure of staying at the Kimpton Fontenot hotel. It exceeded all of my expectations.
Where to Stay in New Orleans?
Kimpton Fontenot is a charming boutique hotel located in the Warehouse District with Southern hospitality. From the moment I arrived, the staff was hospitable and made us feel right at home. There was a summer promotion and since I follow the brand’s Instagram I knew the password could allow me to spin the wheel. Lucky for me, I won complimentary craft cocktails at the elegant bar, The Peacock Room. I spent two consecutive evenings sipping cocktails and taking in the stunning decor and lively atmosphere.
The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with gorgeous furnishings and Gospel Coffee & Boozy Treats, a charming coffee shop where I enjoyed my morning coffee and offered delicious boozy treats. It was great to be within a short walking distance of The French Quarter.
ROOMS AT THE KIMPTON FONTENOT
My room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities I could need for a comfortable stay. The hotel offers a complimentary bike, which is a nice touch and a great way to start the day if being active is your thing. The happy hour isn’t to be missed as well. For all of the fitness lovers out there, the Kimpton Fontenot has you covered with a fitness room located on the property.
Overall, my experience at the Kimpton Fontenot was nothing short of exceptional. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the rooms were comfortable and stylish, and the location was unbeatable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New Orleans and I can’t wait to come back and stay here again.
