I recently had the incredible opportunity to attend my first BottleRock Napa Valley presented by JaM Cellars, and I’m so excited to share my experience with all of you. As a drink and food content creator who enjoys both music and the culinary scene, I’ve always been curious about the festival experience. In this post, I’ll spill all the details and give you the scoop!
What is BottleRock Napa Valley?
Top musicians perform on six stages at the unique music festival BottleRock Napa Valley, presented by JaM Cellars. However, it goes beyond the music alone. The top vintners, chefs, restaurateurs, and brewers from the Napa Valley region and beyond are featured on the BottleRock Culinary Stage. The festival, which is held in the renowned Napa Valley, features an incredible selection of cocktails, cuisine, wine, and craft breweries.
The Lineup:
The BottleRock 2023 lineup is stacked, with artists like Lizzo, Post Malone, Lil Nas X, Wu Tang Clan, and many more taking the festival’s six stages. I was impressed with the diverse range of musical talent and unforgettable performances.

BottleRock Napa Valley goes beyond the music, offering a variety of unique experiences for festival-goers. The spa offered massages, haircuts, and IV hydration to keep you refreshed throughout the festival. The Monkey Shoulder Whiskey Porta-party is a must-visit, featuring DJs, a dance floor, and a cozy backyard seating area.

The Hendrick’s Gin 3-Story Bar, isn’t one to miss. There I sipped on delicious cocktails and captured Instagram-worthy moments at the photo wall. Mattias Horseman (Hendrick’s Gin’s ambassador) walked us through the menu and activation footprint and introduced us to the refreshing cocktails used making Hendrick’s Gin.
Attending BottleRock Napa as a Media Member:
If you’re a media member interested in attending BottleRock Napa, the process is straightforward. Apply online on their Press Page at least a month before the festival date. Provide detailed information about the angle you want to cover and the platforms where you will be sharing your coverage. If selected, you will receive advance notification and information regarding credentials.

As a drink content creator, wine enthusiast, foodie, or music lover attending BottleRock Napa, here are a few tips to enhance your experience:
- Bring an extra battery to ensure your phone stays charged as you document and capture memorable moments.
